Photos of the Stetson Sovereign
Here are some photos of the Stetson with the brim that likes to stay up, although today I noticed that after I manually snapped the brim down last night - without water or steam - it stayed down today. Do you think it's a Homburg?
Snapped down: (sort of)
OK, thanks guys. I'll take some shots tomorrow in the light and post them. It doesn't look like a Homburg but then I probably would not recognize one if I saw one. If it is a Homburg, it might go back to OFAS.
I won a vintage Stetson Sovereign on eBay recently and the hat is in excellent condition - appears unworn - but the brim is up all around - front, sides and back. I'd like to keep the front brim snap down but it keeps popping back up. Will I need to use steam to do that or are some hats just...
I think the Camptown is a beautiful lid but the brim is 3" and for me, that is just too wide. Camptown will cut it down but they charge extra for that. The AB factory made - good enough to carry the AB name - will be available at a "reasonable price" - probably about the same as the...
Now what are the chances...
Bienvenu Caparzo! Je suis americain mais j'adore le sud de la France - "Le Midi." J'ai un ami qui habite a Lyon et je connais Toulouse et Grenoble aussi. Je pense que vous aimeriez le Lounge.
[Welcome Caparzo! I am an American but I love the south of France (known as "The Midi"). I have a...

From the official Indiana Jones website for the new flick:
I don't have a Jimmy Pierce fedora just yet, but you can at least check out his inventory on his now working web site: http://jimmypiercedesigns.com/index.mv
I hope this helps. Will you love me forever anyway?? Hee, hee.
Can't help you there, Andy. They don't post that kind of information in Southern New England, but I'd sure love to visit Custer, SD someday. Keep us informed about the hat store if it opens and what you think of it.
A - Definitely. In fact, just this evening I saw a man wearing a brown fedora while shopping and I made a point of checking out his lid. I noticed from the corner of my eye that he did the same as I passed by him wearing my Stetson Sutley.
Where did you read about this? I'd like to know why any church wants to protest at his funeral - or as you said, any funeral? Churches are in the "business" of conducting funerals and comforting the sorrowful is one of the "spiritual works of mercy"!
It is all too easy for others to make these kinds of callous remarks without regard for the feelings of Heath's family and loved ones. He was a "celebrity" and therefore, not quite as human as the rest of us! What has happened to simple human compassion for the suffering of other people - all...
Kiltie, you remembered my question after all! I thought with all the busyness of life it may have slipped your mind and I was not going to bother you with it again. Thanks. I did a search for the Stetson Firenze and came up with quite a few hits. Many online vendors sell this model but most...
In Memory of Heath Ledger - Unofficial Lounger
A Tribute to Actor Heath Ledger - "Rest in peace" - It seems that he was one of us, at least unofficially. (I did not know where else to post this thread.)
