it's a 7 1/4 lid but it runs too big...

little update on my previous post regarding that Brown Bogart lid i ordered from Daquino a little while back.
still haven't sold the brim distorting problem i have with that lid. I can't seem to get a proper flange/snap to that 2 and a half brim. most frustrating as the hat feels nice...

i may contribute some time next spring to the newly started Esther Weis fedoras appreciation page as i plan on having our skilled fellowmember make me a light weight fedora for the warmer weather to come. I'll keep you posted.
