Honestly, I've seen prices double or even more doing groceries here in UK since last year... Even Field Leathers have raised their prices by £100 since March (and I believe they came from another raise not long before that). UK is struggling and the f***ing Tories are now blaming immigrants lol
Late night nonsense question... What would happen if I applied Black Urad to a brown or burgundy leather? Would the Urad pigment actually dye the leather and create some sort of tea core or would it do nothing? Maybe @Marc mndt or @ton312 , who already played plenty with Urad could chime in and...

I've painted this top section with the Sharpie yesterday and too a better look today... I get some red accents with Sharpie dye... Perhaps I should try the fiber reactive dye, the problem is that I saw more than a few videos and reviews showing the final result as a grey colour instead of pure...
Haha yeah, it does have a smell, and mixes up with the old fabric smell of the zip itself. It is a NOS one, was used on MA1 jackets, I reckon.

How would you guys dye your zip tape? I saw on MASH that they recommend a common stationary pen... I heard some saying that I can just use a Sharpie... Well, I've started with a Sharpie and the result don't look too bad, but I can't say how it'll hold in long term... Any recommendations?
Badalassi is a gorgeous leather! I'm sure you won't regret it. As you can see in this thread (and on many others throughout the forum), the black badalassi is really something especial, and I adore my Tobacco one... The colour depth is fantastic
