Longtime no *be*, Melissa... I drifted away a few years back after it seemed like everybody who'd made the Lounge so interesting and sometimes even fun was going or gone, and now having drifted by idly wondering what was up with the old haunt only to find that Powers is gone... well, it's not...
What am I writing? I just started a weekly feature on a major activism site--no link, because it's politics, though my column is kind of a melting-pot of whatever underreported stories catch my eye plus a lot of "Today in History" and commentary on various foods, beverages, books... a little...
Right now, as far as chain-food goes I've been finding Jersey Mike's #13, the Original Italian, surprisingly good for fast-food. Meat's sliced fresh while you wait, but the pickles they use are worth commenting on in their own right, crisp, tart and just thick enough to give you a good...
Don't let AtomicEraTom or my Hoosier relatives hear you say that... though I'll note there's a REASON I don't drink with the relatives while visiting. LOL
The most tolerable things about it were Jennifer Garner's, er, "assets" ;) and the fact that whichever side the character he plays is on Ving Rhames does the tough-guy role SOOO well.
Don't get me wrong, I HATE Quentin Tarantino and Pulp Fiction (and frankly a lot of the CSI episodes he directed are just Too. Freaking. Weird. for me), but this one was good enough to warrant adoption and use...

Or perhaps autism is something else? Speaking as an autistic (Asperger's, specifically) myself, I tend to see it as a different "brain architecture" with geniuses, village idiots and everything else in between ranging from Rain Man to Bill Gates or Thomas Jefferson just like the "neurologically...
Yeg, modifying a magazine to fit the Kahr 1927's requires altering the hole for the magazine catch--the simpler fix is swapping the standard part out for a GI-spec one. There's actually very little in common between the closed-bolt 1927 of today with the original open-bolt 1927 and its...
My condolences. As one of the "Middle Generations" of FL, I do have some memory of him; he was not only a stand-up guy but welcoming to the "fresh meat" too.
Rest in peace, compadre; you are missed.
Slightly offtopic: I'm starting to think we need a Roll Call to see who from the old days...
Oh, don't know if it's updated but here's Carebear's LinkedIn page: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/matthew-carberry/b/3b7/634
He completely dropped out of visibility on the firearms boards we frequented too, last login of September 2011.
