    What Are You Reading

I've never read Peter Pan, maybe I should search the used book store for it. I'm currently reading Kon-Tiki by Thor Heyerdahl. A very beat-up old copy too!

Hello, I'm in the Canadian Air Force - so I am the soldier in the family! I just finished a 2 month TD. I'm single, we were so busy and restricted that I recieved mail but couldn't return it, and it certainly helped with the few moments where I missed my parents - but I think the seperation...

    Tree Houses/Forts?

Me too. We used to build massive snow cities in our school yards and up in the plowed snow piles at the dead end on our street. We get alot of snow. A lot, and after an ice storm the structures were as hard as stone, tunnels and all - and surprisingly very little supervision.

The CADPAT has its place, but I wish it was not on me - North Bay used to allow the blues and everyone wore them - we are an air force base afterall, we were ordered to switch over to the CADPAT, I can't even wear my Dress Unifrom without permission - even when I had to get my potrait redone...

Private in Canadian Air Reserve, in North Bay, where the NORAD underground is located (just a deep, deep hole now since they brought it above ground..:( .) I HATE my uniform, miss the old ones, the really old ones! Currently we are in terrible green relish, cheap jumpsuits, I envy the...

Does anyone use a name that's not their own?

While I have had a few names I have gone by - usually my middle name because there were 5 Rebecca's in my class my entire life- it's unusual and shamefully star trekkie thanks to my father - so I will not utter it here, but if you are a trekkie, think original series, female, contraversal kiss...

Are you in Woodstock? Is that the Victoria case, how terrible, it's probably beyond hope now, but I want the police to find her. The "Annoying Phrase" Thread

Guilty. Guilty. Guilty. I'm a Canuck, and oh my, do we ever say I'm Sorry, it's true, I say "I'm Sorry" when someone else bumps into me! Most of us up here do that, it's just a mash up of "I'm Sorry's" when you knock into someone, they apologize, you apologize, then before we know it were sorry...

    Show us your vehicles

I walk everywhere, small city so everything is relativly in walking distance and our Public Transport is terrible, I would have to take 2 buses, travel for 45 minutes not including waiting at the stops, to get to a place it would take me 20 minutes to walk. So I walk the hour to the University...

I stumbled onto the faceinhole.com website where you can easily, that is quickly, tuck a photo of your face behind famous celebrities and the like, just like you did as a child behind giant cut-outs of strongmen and bikini girls. For the loungers amusement and my own, Let me present Rosie the...

As a Canadian Air Force Gal I work out everyday (soon to be twice a day) and I run and do weights, and I had not thought about vintage workout wear, but am now! I usually run in beat up old shorts and a jersey, or when the lakes were frozen we went skating and I did wear a white knit...
