Chip Work Boots? Anyone?
A bit late, but for those interested, I finally swapped out the round waxed laces on mine with a pair of plain flat brown ones and they look great. Mine were 36 inch length, but 40 inch will work perfectly if you don't want a lot of excess flopping around after tying the knot. But don't do this...- Baggers

My understanding has always been that pure cotton canvas woven tightly enough is already as water resistant as is necessary to get the job done. The fibers swell as they get wet and close off. That's why one never touched the inside of an old style canvas tent when it was raining unless one...- Baggers

A suprise for vintage shavers...
SUCCESS!!! Just got back from my local BB&B and it was the brushless shave cream in the fat green and white plastic tube. There were three on the shelf and I grabbed all of them. Also picked up two packs of the Wilkinson Sword blades. Thanks for the tip, Mid-Fogey. :eusa_clap Cheers...- Baggers

Are you referring to the brushless shave cream? Do you recall if the tube had green printing? If so, I'm making a trip the the nearest location. All my usual sources stopped stocking it 3 or 4 months ago for some reason. I thought they'd discontinued it. Cheers!- Baggers
