So I'm a Hairstylist but somehow my interest in classic barbering seems to be driving me nuts. I'm curious where is the best place to purchase tools online Also, are there some kind of online tutorials on how to do a straight razor shave. I really want to experiment. I'm sure this sounds...
I wouldn't consider it "lumping" it together. Just more as bringing it together. I doubt there where more than 5 popular Latin genres in the Golden Era or Mid-Century. I figured making separate threads for each sub-genre would be obnoxious. But you are right there is so much of mambo to cover...
Thank you! ;) I keep my white streak bright with blue malva now. I think it works so much better than shimmer lights. Our tone shampoos are probably some of the best ones out there. I STRONGLY recommend madder root for all the redheads!
Well I put and Other Latin music for that reason. As much as I love mambo I'd like to see different things. Mambo isn't the only interesting Latin music out there.
One of my favorite singers is Lola Flores a flamenco singer/dancer from Spain. I love her stuff. One of my first records was hers and my Abuela gave it to me so I hold it dear.

And something not as dramatic for those rolling their eyes.

I use Aveda products at work and I also have dyed black hair. Black Malva is great! I love it. It will keep your black at it's blackest and very shiny. I can't use it anymore because I have a white streak now.
I think your fine dying your hair again. if it dries a little just do a hot organic...
I've been using the Aveda Duo Foundation. It's a wet or dry foundation. But I normally pair it up with the tinted moisturizer and the coverage is great.. and I have all kinds of dark spots on my cheeks from acne scars.
Plus no clogging.
I just wanted to share some videos... with great dance sequences and songs. Me being Latin I'm so fond of these videos. I hope this is the right place to post it! I hope to see other videos or hear other great tunes.

Well I'm working on my clothing line and I'm looking for someone to put together a nice website for it. I came here to look first because it's a vintage reproduction clothing site and I don't want to explain what I like is to someone that has no idea what I'll be jabbering about.
If any of you...
Conditioner will usually suck in whatever you put on it. I guess that's how it moisturizes your hair. I just went about it... stained and scrubbed with some dish soap. most of it is gone. hahah. But thanks ladies!
Since I'm impatient I want to dye my hair now but I don't have vaseline to protect my hairline. Know of any other home solutions? I almost put arnica or vix... but I don't want to risk some chemical reaction. Knowing my luck. Would olive oil work?
