Akubra Overload
I looked at the liner of my Squatter, and it looks similar to yours; the screen printing is black, and the liner itself is gold. The plastic cap of the liner is much thinner than my other two Akubras and is somewhat "crinkly" to the touch. On the sweatband "SQUATTER" is printed in block...- Mr E Train

Akubra Campdraft
Did a little tweaking a few minutes ago. It didn't have enough of a dramatic slope from the apex of the crown down to the back (or "rake" as I learned from daizawaguy) for my taste. So it's seen some mileage? How long have the Chinese fakes been around? Maybe it's legit, just a mistake in the lettering on the sweatband that got through quality control. The liner looks kind of like the one in my Squatter, now that I think of it, and I'm reasonably certain it's a genuine...- Mr E Train
