FOR SALE - Late 1930's/Early 1940's Paragon Blue Fedora SIZE 7 1/2
Up for sale is this awesome hat. The felt is lightweight and is practically in mint condition. The color is a medium blue with a great pleated blue ribbon. That looks like a flatter-medium cupped flange. The raised sides can obviously be achieved by steam and shaping much like shaping the brim of a western hat. -

Such a classic color combo on the felt, ribbon, and binding. Gorgeous and rare hat. I have only owned one early "Extra Quality" and it really was "extra." I owned a derby, but a soft hat is truly a great find -

In your collection, do any pre war hats vary in felt thickness? I can't be 100% sure about my velour without using micrometer, but just by feel there seems to be a substantial difference. The brim isn't very stiff, so its kind of a miracle that its held such a high cupped flange for so many... -
