well i just ordered from mysuitshop last week, which seem to be the same people as mycustomtailor, except with less expensive fabrics.
paid $306 total for the suit
dispatch time says the 29th, so it should be a few days earlier than that.
while i didn't ask for a vintage style cut...

i ask about which material would be a closer match, and i get a reponse saying my order has been placed?
although i think they e-mailed the wrong person because my account with them doesnt have any "current orders" or "order history"
well, i decided to go with mysuitshop.com. i sent them an e-mail and pia (the person who responded) seems fairly confident she can reproduce the look i want judging from the pictures.
hopefully all works out well, and i receive a suit on par or better than my current off the rack suits...
this would probably be the best route for me to take, but to be honest, i would have a really hard time bringing myself to spending $1500 on a suit. perhaps in the future when i come up with an idea for a really unique suit that justifies the pricetag, i will give it a go, but for now, the suit...

now you say the cut came out pretty well? i'd want something atleast on par with the off-the-rack stuff i've been purchasing, since it is considered so crappy by most custom standards.

i'm interested in having a suit made. i've been lurking these forums for a while now and have come across many tailors that you guys have mentioned, but i'm still unsure as to which one would be right for me.
now, a bit of a shift from the norm... i'm looking for a more modern cut suit...
