    Jeff Goldblum

Heh... it happens. He's a particularly nasty piece of work in that film... but he plays it so deliciously :)

    Jeff Goldblum

The last film I remember him in was The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou... one of my favourite movies of all time. It was only a few years back.

"Doctor Who," He's Back and it's About Time!

Blink is both a good and bad episode to show to new viewers... good, because it'll probably rope them in... bad, because it's not a typical Doctor Who story. Heck, having said that, showing anyone something from the first three new seasons is kind of weird if they ever get an interest to go back...

    The Red Baron (2007)

So interesting, I had included it in the first post, aye ;) Well, we'll see how it goes. Most historical movies do this; it's not a new phenomenon. I think I could count on one hand the movies out there that are truly "historically accurate".

Wested... go Doctor Who/Das Boot or go custom?

Thanks for the replies so far... but they sort of go a bit all over the place ;) I'll break out the bit of text that hides my actual question:

    Gentlemen's Clubs

I think everyone's coming at this from wildly different angles and, in that, it's hard to reconcile one comment with the next. One man's dream club being just that... a dream. Something sighted in movies and read about in books that generally doesn't exist. Another man's club, meanwhile, might...

    3:10 to Yuma

The word on the street is that they've done a good job with this film. Sure, there'll always be a pocket of people who want to like the original because it's the original and will never give this film a go - and that's fine. I don't believe the budget was particularly high (despite the casting)...

In which WWII army should you have fought?

You scored as a United States Your army is the American army. You want your home front to support the G.I.'s in their pursuit to liberate world from more or less evil tyrants. United States 94% British and the Commonwealth 88% Soviet Union 88% Poland 81% France, Free French...

"Doctor Who," He's Back and it's About Time!

All told, I've been pretty happy with the first three seasons of the new series. While I think RTD brings a lot to the show in the form of passion, an overall guiding hand and even the odd good script, however, I really wish he'd let more people have a go and hadn't tried to stamp himself across...

Ah, excellent. Some interesting opinions there but, hopefully with the movie closer to release we'll get more people talking about it than that previous thread :)

    Do you collect military medals?

One of my favourite hobbies (whenever I'm feeling cashed-up, that is), is collecting military medals. I typically stick to British/Australian/Canadian/South African groups as these are generally named and I enjoy doing research on the people behind them. A fascinating thing, although I always...
