Vanson Z150 vs. X150
So about 2-3 years ago now the tannery that was making leathers for Vanson burned down. They only this last year found a new permanent tannery for their needs and it closed during the first lockdowns. As in forever. The only reason I haven’t ordered anything from Bronson yet is their lack of choices. I mean they have an extensive line of products don’t get me wrong. I’ve just recently gotten into the B-15 jackets and they have a B-15A which I may order and a B-15C but without the collar which I would want...- dannyk

The few Bronson owners around here seem to love them for the money. I want to get a B-15C from them but they don’t currently sell that model with the fur collar. If they ever do I will be purchasing one.- dannyk

I would add I would expect BR and RMC to also have better stitching (but better is relative) by which I mean possibly more stitches per inch and laser straight. And of course as I already stated historical accuracy in not only look but things like hardware as mentioned zippers and buttons...- dannyk

Thought about this. Blue is the one I think goes with more options. My thought was green is still fairly neutral and can work with most things. Though I still give the edge to blue. But blue is a really common color for any B and M styled jackets. Khaki and Sage also very common. But this green...- dannyk

Yup. They make two different greens. One of which I’m interested in and posted above. The blue pictured. Sage green and black. Sage and black I don’t like. They also make a slim fit blue that comes with a brown collar. I don’t like that one. I posted these two cause these are the ones I narrowed...- dannyk

Natal Leather
Lawrence/Rich Sher also make some insanely underrated jackets. Especially their cross-zips I’ve seen. I thought there was a user here who actually owned both a Lawrence and a Rich-Sher. If I remember the Rich-Sher was very highly recommended by them. Was it you possibly @Gamma68 ?- dannyk

That’s the thing there’s only two. Blue and green. The green one looks different in different lighting. It’s apparently the same exact jacket just under different conditions. Which is my hold up.
