Marvin the Martian for the WIN!!!!!!!!!
Let's face it...they just don't make cartoons like they used to................SENSELESS VIOLENCE!!!!!!!!!!! Marvin always upitomized this by wanting to destroy Earth if he didn't get what he wants!
good point..you finally get to see Sirius and Harry interact and make that relationship real. I'll be honest I've never read the books, but have always enjoyed the films (kind of have to when you've got young kids). This installment definitely offers the most as far as showing the torment that...
I think of all the movies so far, this one has been slowest in terms of wizardry and "wow", but the deepest in plot and development of Harry as a person. He's really a tortured soul dealing with alot of things. I have a feeling that there is big fight coming up. We saw a glimpse of the...
My best guess on the "piss-cutter" is that during WWI the Marines went over in 1917 wearing campaign covers, canvas leggings and naturally, Marine Corps uniforms. As time wore on the large round brims of the covers were not very practical to carry around with them. Being that WW1 saw the first...
I picked up this coat about a year ago. I'm pretty sure it's not vintage but is the style even close? It's 100% wool and has a wool belt. I don't have any detail shots, but I figured if it's way off the mark, the experts here will be able to spot it real quick:
Wow, that really reminds me of the year I was stationed there. We had a fellow named Jimmy who came to the barracks advertising the same services(Tommy/Jimmy..hmmm?). Anyhow, at the time I was more interested in the 60's 3 and 4 button look and ordered a suit. I'll have to dig it out and see how...
So I was sitting on the back porch today watching the kids play on their inflatable water slide and what do I see........P38 racing across the sky. Maybe 500-1000 ft up. Not two or three minutes later another (or perhaps the same one after she circled around). We have a small airstrip near us so...
Ok...I took the plunge and picked up a suit from slicedbread on this forum (featured in this post http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?t=20216 ). I'm completely new to the civilian attire realm, as I'm a WW2 reenactor. So here goes:
Now, I picked up the jacket and trousers only. The...
I did enjoy seeing an account (accuracy can always be disputed) about the CIA. I have to say that I enjoyed it, but I will say that it was a bit slow. Damon was a cold character, but I suppose that is what they were going for...especially how he treated his almost daughter in law. It is worth...
How about for 100% wool? I have been working on putting together a WW2 USMC impression and finally got a hold of the service alpha uniform. It's in great shape however it has that "old" smell to it. Would the steaming technique take care of that or should I dry clean it?
