    Thanks for pointing that out. I am still getting used to the US eBay and USPS as opposed to the UK eBay, and something went pear-shaped here. Shipping to the UK would still be $10 according to the USPS shipping calculator.

    Yes, it's the EvaDress pattern. It's a shame the pattern isn't multi size, I'd make a new one for myself. As it is I bought an early '50s dressing gown pattern with a db front and peak and shawl lapels to replace it. I need to find appropriate fabric, though.

    Was it made by the War Department, or just acquired by the War Department? Several of Henry VIII's armours and other 15th and 16th century pieces have a WD stamp on the interior, since they were technically part of the national armoury in the Tower.

    I've seen Bringing Up Baby, but not Mr Lucky yet. The suit I would wear in a heartbeat (and it will probably go on my to-do list when I've perfected my db waistcoat pattern).
