I would have to go with the SB. I agree that when you're my size (48L) a DB just makes you look a bit "boxy" up top. I am, however, envious of those who can pull it off as I love the look.
Hello. I'm interested in the 48 Long jacket if it's still available. I don't have a sufficient number of posts to send an PM. Will you please email me mhollis at yahoo dot com?
Thank you
Matt
Here is the other jacket that I have up for sale. It's a Speiwak and Sons A2 styled jacket. This jacket has side hand warmer pockets and is made from a very heavy leather. Remains in VG condition but does have a small (eraser sized) smudge of what appears to be white paint on the left sleeve...
I've found a couple more A2 jackets that I'm going to put on here to see if you guys are interested. The first is a made by Flight Apparel Industries and is in very good condition. Marked as a size 50 L, but honestly fits more like a 46 or so as I find it pretty tight in the shoulders...
Sorry, but the measurements didn't occur to me when I posted. The measurements are as follows:
Sleeve length with cuff - 25.5"
Sleeve length without cuff - 23"
Arm pit to arm pit - 25"
Length (rear base of neck to bottom of waistband) - 26"
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Matt
Hello. I recently purchased a Cooper A2 off Ebay and it's just a little too short for me. This Cooper was distributed by US Wings and is marked as such. Size is 46 regular and the condition is like new. On the left front is a leather patch for the 305th Bomb Group and a leather name tag...
50s Overcoat
I'm new to the lounge and don't have PM rights yet. I'm interested in the overcoat mentioned above. Please email me at mhollis44@yahoo.com.
Thanks
