Try going to a Barnes and Noble bookstore and pick up this pamphlet size booklet called Ross Reports. Has just about every entertainment industry address and number you could hope for. Honestly for a party that "walks the walk" ,as you say, authentic, to make a person feel like they've achieved that step back through time effect, would be for you to tackle this as if you were creating a movieset.
