Same as a few of the other comments here: fades are cool, they look nice; but I just want good fitting, durable jeans. Fades are ancillary to me. If I get them that’s nice and an added bonus. I just like the look and wear of heritage or heritage inspired jeans, and the fact that many of them are...
Yeah the one on @Jin431 which used to be mine ha.....it’s a really interesting collar. As he said and as I put on my sale page there’s really no way to tell if it used to be brown or black...or some variation of grey. But whatever the sun did to it, it’s become a cool combination of all 3 that...
Keeps you cooler. Vanson specializes in riding jackets. They have an entire racer line. Like for professionals. It started there a long time ago and then started use in some of their regular lines. Airflow and heat control.
I’ve been looking at some of the cheaper B-10s. Bronson, Bob Dong, used Aeros and Ricksons. Don’t want to spend a ton on this kind of jacket; and they are all tagged sizes not customs; so I figure no need to go big on them. Just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Sounds like you’re really liking...
Well, welcome to TFL. Don’t say we didn’t warn ya! Haha. Most of us found this forum searching for “the one” and we ended up here 5 years later and having gone through 30 jackets! Some of the fun is the chase, the trade, the sale and the purchase. But your wallet and if you have a significant...
To echo @Tom71 I would do nothing. And that will apply to most leathers; just so you know for future reference. Any good/quality leathers won’t need much for years and years. Like 10-15 years. Other than the occasional wipe down with a cloth and water or a non-harmful weak soap. That’s about all...
I had one. Recently sold it. Not because it wasn’t a great jacket; but because I’m a member of this forum and I can’t stop buying, trading, and selling. It’s an addiction haha. I can tell you mine was made from competition weight and it was a beast of a jacket. Heavy as hell and the type of...
I’ve been dying to see someone get the Abyss. The color looked so rich and nice in the Thurston photos. Spectacular. Can’t wait to see more pics of it in different lighting.
It works. Some say black and brown should not mix. This shows it’s possible. There’s just so many shades of black and brown; it’s just about picking the right ones. With the right ones it looks great. Looking good.
I have this problem with boots. Most people’s feet are slightly different sizes. My left is just over a half size smaller than my right. It makes shoe/boot/sneaker shopping quite the experience.
Vanson knows how to make a biker jacket. Prettier jackets. Better leathers. More features. More variety. Plenty of “better” and plenty of options out there. But Vanson just knows how to make a great bike jacket.
It’s black. I think it’s the white background with whatever lights are on it that give it a bit of the blue hue. Very excited for its arrival. Shawn said it was shipped yesterday. Again fingers crossed it’s as cool as it looks in the photos and the numbers work out. Not too expensive and...
I have seen those. My comment wasn’t meant to be gospel. Just generic comments. They all shared the basic outline with some differences here and there whatever they may be. I like the top sleeve zips. And the durable long ones. Too bad that seems to really have somehow only really be found on...
Oh yeah that’s definitely one of the variables I meant. I’ve never seen a durable in person so no comment on them; but Rich Sher are fantastic. I’ve drooled over many of their jackets not just the perfectos. They do something right for sure.
So very true. Every brand has slight differences. Different angle on the stars. Longer belt. Different epaulets. Brass or nickel hardware etc...or in the case of Durable the zips on the top of the sleeve. But there was never anything so incredible about Durables to make them so collectible...
