I bought this Tatton Baird tonight. The seller says the crown felt isn't rough, and is stiff, but knows nothing about hats. Fifth, a John Wanamaker Panama. Really small, even, tight weave. It was a little damaged in transit to Mexico, so Ignacio put some stuff on it to close it and stop it from spreading. Fourth, an Optimo that was so big (62.75) and had such a narrow brim the seller had trouble selling it, so I got it cheap. I gained about half an inch (1/8 inch for each size).
