    Made and styled in California for Penney’s Seems like in the 40’s - 50’s adding “California” to the label somehow increased its swank. Love this 40’s “Big Chief” tie clasp I picked up awhile back.

    Here’s a few painted ties I’ve picked up. I love it when they’ve still got the tags/labels attached. Makes em even that much cooler. This one isn’t vintage but it is a Cac-tie This pic with Too Slim is about 30 years and 30 lbs ago.

    Thank you Dale. That jacket is part of a 40’s lightweight Tropicool flecked suit that’s very light and airy to wear even in 110* AZ. It’s one of my favorites in the summer.

    Alrighty then. Here’s one I wore Sunday. No maker label other than the “Hand Tailored” tag. I went back thru this thread a ways, didn’t realize how absent I’d been from it. I sure miss @MichaelA post & pics. That dude could throw together any mixture of wardrobe and make it look KOOL.
