Quality Suiting Fabrics?
Here's something I gave to our salespeople to use when selling our clothing.
What Constitues A Quality Fabric?
There has been a great deal of confusion regarding the quality of fabrics. The world seems to have been sold a bill of goods regarding 'super' fabrics...
Spent 20 years living in Texas (Coppell). Went from Yankee (visitor) to a Damn Yankee (resident) to an accepted member of the Republic of Texas. Been gone from Texas for 7 years but the folks here in Georgia know that I'm still a Texan.

Physically back from the RTDA covention in NOLA and the Menswear show in Dallas.
Wow, smoked a ton of cigars while at the convention enjoyed the company of many friends in the cigar world. Louisianna ATF created a stir by requiring all who were giving out samples to pay tax on them. This...

While you are correct that cigars are not made for enhaling...there are some that exhale through the nostrils. I've watched Carlos Feunte Jr do that often.
I prefer the old exhale through the mouth way myself.
In regard to some of the comments earlier in this thread regarding...
Well the trip to NOLA is fast approaching and CAO has announced another new release... they have licensed the Soprano's name from HBO for a new cigar series.

More Pre RTDA Info
Besides the double camaroon wrapped cigar from CAO there will be a number of other new cigars released at the convention.
Ashton will introduce a few new sizes of the powerful VSG and Estate Grown series.
Fuente will offer the God of Fire by Carlito 2005 and the God of...
Check the country of origin on the suits mentioned above. The BB will probably be US or Canada while the Joe Banks will be far east. The quality of fabric will be similar, unless Banks is using a Poly Cotton Blend.
If we didn't make seersucker suits I would look toward the Brooks for myself...
Can anyone post a picture of the Pinks and Greens Uniform? I am working on sketches for a new Dress Uniform for the US Army and want to use the Pink and Green for inspiration on one of the designs.
Thanks in advance,

More Thoughts (Spoiler Alert)
Yawn, just OK. The original was better, never thought I'd be singing the praises of Gene Barry's acting. I wanted the aliens to grab the little girl to end her incessant screaming.
The lovely Mrs Fuente felt that the Tim Robbins Character was a gift from...
Speaking of Humidors in Las Vegas
The new Arturo Fuente Store has opened in the New Forum Shops at Ceasars
The shop is owned by the Fuente's and Robby Levine of Holts in Philadelphia.

To CanadaDave
Dave,
Many cigars are shipped with cedar sheets separating the layers inside the box. Ask your local tobacconist to save them for you. Tearing the sheets into strips will give you an effective splint with which to light your cigar. Light the splint with a match or lighter and...

My favorite is the curve case Gruen that preceded the Curvex, it's not as elongated as the Cuvex case.
2nd is a Cort Tuxedo Watch that the Lovely Mrs Fuente wears
3rd is the Hamilton Ultra thin that my dad gave me in the 50's
With a small wrist, big watches look a bit...
Cigars should be lit with a splint (a small strip of non aromatic cedar) The next best method is with a butane torch, no odor from the butane and enough fire to toast the foot of the cigar prior to lighting. Third would be a match that you held away from the cigar for a moment to allow the...
