Really?
Vintage only?
The opening post doesn't seem to suggest that this is a vintage only thread.
I don't really mean to be an ass, but your response came across as kind of snarky.

I have a Stetsonian in caribou on the way and I'm picking up a custom Gus Miller in Cincinnati on Friday, so I have to wait a bit on the new open crown Whippet. I'm happy to see these offerings.

I saw the Grand Central on the JJ Hatter Facebook page. I need one. I'll be good and wait for my Stetsonian to arrive before I order one though.

Just for fun, look under the sweatband for other size markings. My Stratoliner was mislabeled. The visible size tag read 7 1/2 while the tag under the sweatband read 7 3/4.

I wish I could get to the store. Not that I've had bad service online (I've ordered three Borsalinos since May), I'd just like to see the shop. Alas, I am quite far from NY.
Yeah, I got the confirmation email last night estimating January delivery. It will be a great after-christmas present.

Jack Savage- I have ordered and received an Alessandria and a Como from Bencraft in the last six months or so. Both took about two weeks from placement to arrival. In my experience, Bencraft is a quality source for hats, they're just not as communicative as DelMonico.

This evening I ordered a Stetsonian from DelMonico. They are also running a coupon or two if you are on their mailing list. But I believe there is a six week wait for any color besides Tawny. I could be wrong. I ordered Caribou, so I'd like to be wrong on the wait.

It's my understanding that the Premier is of a higher quality felt than the regular Stratoliner. The Premier also comes open crown, so you can crease it however you want.
Mine:
I have both a new Premier Stratoliner and Borsalino Allesandria. The felt on the Stetson is smooth, soft, and easy to shape. A little steam helped set the crease. The ribbon stitching is a little rough, but otherwise a nice hat, in my opinion. The Borsalino felt is thinner and super soft. No...
Thanks guys!
The full shot is the closest color. I believe it is the Winchester dark grey. I'll see if I can find or take a better shot this weekend. These were just a couple I had on my phone already.
EDIT: here is the unfiltered image.
You guys are making me want to break out my Black Sheep hat. This one is a couple years old and has been my go-to hat most of its short life.
