Has anyone gotten a jacket with wool plaid liner?
What temperature conditions do they usually work well in? Thinking it may be too warm during most time of the year in NYC
Maybe you're joking about the number of emails, but why exactly did it take so much back and forth to discuss sizing?
Not saying it's your fault - this just sounds really odd from reading experiences with other makers.
The sleeves look too long.
Even without the extra inch, it seems like it would have been too long. Not sure why Aero advised to add more length - you could always wear some thick gloves to keep the cold out.
Rest of the jacket looks fine considering you want to layer
Oh for sure, a lot of the brands there rely on the “Made in Italy” tag there to carry them. I figured there still must be some hidden gems out there that are able to compete with the likes of Aero, Thedi, etc…
It seems like Italy only has great tanneries with the likes of Badalassi and others...
The jacket looks beautiful (I'm sure the Badalassi helps) and even though it isn't custom, fits you well.
Their Badalassi leather jackets are quite pricey though, nearly ~1850 USD for stock sizing and ~2400 USD for MTM sizing.
I'm not sure why Italian manufacturers aren't discussed here more...
This is what I'm afraid of... not stopping at 1. Just can't help myself
that's a good point, no more gambling from me... I'm happy with it now
