the school radio station i work at just got 2 brand spanking new turntables and they are beautiful...
the station vinyl collection is enormous and i play all of my show off vinyl unless i can't find an album...
nothing beats vinyl...
where can i get those babies? i live in 'bumbleduck', oregon with a safeway and walmart so i'm doubting i can pick them up here...
the closest i can come are romas which are also good for sauces...
we planted those big bertha tomatoes last year and they got so big and we had so many that we boiled them down, skinned em, and mashed them up, added some tomato paste, onions, garlic, meats, etc. and it was really good...and much, much lighter on the stomach...
so it can be done...perhaps...
I've been doing a lot of cooking lately and i've discovered i'm pretty good at it...
Italian food is my favorite so i've been cooking the classic dishes...
i already know how to do the classic spaghetti and tomato sauce so i moved up to stuffed manicotti, then a lasagna, then i picked up...
had my first official show this morning and it went great...
Miles Davis, Charles Mingus, John Coltrane, and Thelonius Monk were the vinyl culprits of the late night air waves...
almost forgot to add Dawn Of The Dead(1978)
considered to be the greatest zed film of all time...
i found it to be somewhat dull but i guess it was ok...
World War Z - Max Brooks
if you like the zombie genre then you would enjoy this book...
it's not only about the zed apocalypse but also society during the war...Brooks is great...
i have a weekly show now...Sunday 12am-3am PST...for those who enjoy late night miles davis, coltrane, monk, etc. feel free to tune in...
online streaming at http://www3.eou.edu/keol/
i start the 12th...
