I've been dying my hair with henna for a number of years, and I'm tired of doing the roots every two weeks and really miss my curly hair (the henna smoothed it all out). My last "dye job" was Oct 20th. I figure I have to wait until the end of Feb until it's long enough that a short haircut...

Bella, that's a haori: a hip- or thigh-length kimono jacket which adds formality. Haori were originally reserved for men, until fashions changed at the end of the Meiji period. They are now worn by both men and women, though women's kimono jackets tend to be longer.
