    Auction of 'Hitler' watercolours

As a traditionalist, I'm sort of glad that at least he didn't contribute to the DaDa nonsenselol

What Have You Saved From Your Childhood?

I'm impressed! It all looks new, too!

What Have You Saved From Your Childhood?

Hmm..nothing, unfortunately. My War Wars action figures all got used to death (for instance, that clean white stormtrooper armour just begging for me to heat up a pin and burn little "laser" holes into it) My Millenium Falcon was torn up by a nieghbor kid (yes, I did return the favor) My...

    80s Punks / 00s Fedorans

I might see it on my own time, and subject no one else to it, lol. Still a fan of the Misfits, S.O.D., Dead Kennedies, early Siouxsie and the Banshees, etc. I can't stand what is considered "punk" now...it's all a parody of punk, and very fake. Most of my musical time is now spent with...

    OH MY GOD!

Heh, no ones' going to wear this stuff, even with the terrible fashions that do take. I predict seeing no one biting on this.

I've seen pics of his work before. Not that impressive, if you ask me.

    Our own vintage town

I'd be a portrait artist who sets up on the sidewalk, and tries to avoid the town drunk who always follows me around wanting to shoot the breeze (and running off my business). On rainy or snowy days I'd set up in one of a few different businesses that let me (the general store perhaps).

    Barber Shops

I agree with your response, and would think it still applies, whatever the origin date.:)

    Barber Shops

It wasn't in Oak Cliff, but downtown Dallas. It's been awhile since I tried and failed to relocate the place, but it was in the Elm or Main Street area, to the East of the center of town. I'm gonna try to find another old style shop, although I do like the haircut guy my wife and I both go...

Smokers and non smokers, what do you do, what do you think?

I quit cigarettes in 2000, but am thinking of getting a pipe or some nice cigars for less frequent indulgence at home. I am really glad I quit cigs, it was a gross inconvenience to run out in the evening and have to get back out to get more when I otherwise would like to have lounged at home...

    Barber Shops

I found an old barber in downtown Dallas about 10 years ago, and got much of the same treatment. It was the most complete haircut I'd ever had, complete with the neck massage (which surprised me a little, as I'm not used to another guy taking a neck massager after me). I dare say these gents...

    Your Top 10 TV Shows

I'm not a regular T.V. watcher (movies? certainly. Television? not as much) 1. Coupling (an absolute riot and an easy first choice for me) 2. Jeeves and Wooster 3. Firefly! 4. Southpark (I know it's foul, but it's just too funny for me to ignore!) 5. I love the new Dr. Who! 6. Cheers...

    The Green Hornet

I didn't have the occasion to see the Green Hornet as much as Batman, but based on this thread, I will have a better look. Always been a Batman fan myself, though I much preferred him without Robin (As in Batman Begins)...

    Occupations

I'd still be an artist, for the same reasons I am now: I hope to add to the quality of aesthetics in the world around me, whatever time I am in.

What do you use to shave?

We're in the same boat on Mach 3, and I had similar experiences with other razors. I have an easy time of it with Mach 3. I am a bit lazy on the perfect shave, though, and could stand to spend a bit more time with the fine tuning.
