Heres the one J Peterman was offering about ten years ago. I think I saw the same design only dark seal brown about a year ago on their web site.
I really like mine...
If anyones interested here are some LVC 1933 501s 555 (Valencia St) 11 2000that I scored a couple of weeks ago on ebay. The denim seems to be darker than the denim LVC used on the 2003 offering.
Someone wiser than I once said "the pen is mightier than the sword" so I still say freedom of speech tough all of our freedoms are precious. One of the first rights that some governments like Saddam, the Nazis, the old Soviet Union, etc do is dicredit the and then take over the media.
Its a her and I posted her email and a link to McCoys a while back on this thread. They're in a different league than most repro makers. It will always be the repro you wish you had while spending a ton of dough on lesser repros. I know.
My father had started training for the invasion of Japan when the two bombs (Nagasaki and Hiroshima) were dropped. If the battle for Okinawa was any indication of the type of battle the Japanese Island would have been did we have another choice? More people actually died in the fire bombings...
I do find it interesting that a (so called) conservative has increased spending by 1/3 and Government be a bit more than that. The only veto has been fed $ for stem cell research but no spending bills.
Thats the reason I recommended McCoys by the time your done with shipping costs you might be with'n a couple hundred bucks and you can get one of the best and you can go visit them to boot.
Try Real McCoys New Zealand. You live there go visit them in Christchurch. Their website shows only a portion of what they offer.
http://www.realmccoys.co.nz/ Go there or e-mail your measurements to Paddy and they will put you in one of the finest A-2s you can buy.
Includes insurance and 2 day priority. I put that (repro) in for all the folks that e-mail wanting to know what LVC means. Just means they're not original 1933 501s but LVC which are repros...

And in the Corps it was one pleat on each side facing out kinda like a bi-swing on a G-1 flight jacket. And of course in front military alignment and no Irish pennants.
OOPPPS sorry pushed the wrong quote button.
Nick LVCs and vintage Lees and Wranglers don't seem to sell here in the US like they do in Europe and Asia. Price probably has something to do with it.
Look around on the Aero site...
My biggest complaint about some of the Japanese repros are the weight and texture of the denim. I know a guy that has quite a few pairs of 40s and 50s originals some new/raw with tags and the red line cone mill stuff that levis was using in the 1990s and early 2000s was pretty close to the...
