Indy gave me the quote and I'll probably end up buying it sometime over the summer.
I still want to know, were these originally part of cricketing uniforms in England?
Sent Indy pics of the one I want for a quote, awaiting a reply, if it's within my budget I'll post pics when I get it.
However I'm not sure what fabric I should use, does anyone know what kind of fabric they were made of in the past? I know a lot of repros are a little heavier than...
Really? I love levi's but I'm always disapointed with lee's because I always rip Lees. And I'm probably not too hard on them since I have the same daily routine when I wear jeans as when I wear nice slacks.
Well I'm really not wearing it for special occasions and it will probably end up being more of an overcoat than they traditionally were.
If anyone has a frock coat I would love to see some pics if at all possible.
cool, I checked this place out and sent an email asking if they could get me one in a different color and how much it would be. Still awaiting response. Speaking of seattle does anybody know of a competent tailor or seamstress around washington that could make one?

What's the deal with these things? I know they were popular in the 1800's and that they regained popularity in the fifties but that's it. Where did they come from? are they still worn in some circles and can they still be bought?
Honestly I've never had that problem, my interests seem to change frequently enough that I'm never really set into a mold, if you will. This unfortunately means I have a lot of poor pieces from a lot of different interests because I know myself and never waste too much when first starting a new...
I honestly think this has become a moot point. you didn't slap him around when it happened, you didn't demand anything when it happened, it's been a month now and I think you have no options left.
To repair the jacket however you could probably buy some sort of rain resistant goop stuff and...
I know many brick and mortar shops will reblock a hat for free. If this isn't feasible I would wear as is. Tossing it seems silly because I know a few loungers would jump at the oppurtunity for a hat.
