I have both the original and the repro of this pattern and I haven't decided which version to make. I have compared the pattern pieces for both versions and they are very different.

Beautiful patterns Miss Sis. I too love 1930's McCalls patterns. I've had great look with them and the finished products alsways look like the pattern illustations.

Late 50's cotton dress with faux bolero. The only draw back is that i have to untie the front in order to zip it. I can't always get the bow to look right.

I found both of these on etsy. I had the earrings in my favorites for months. So glad no one else got them. Now I just need the prefect lucite purse.
I call eveyone younger than me cute or adorable. Often it can mean pretty or hot even but cute is the word I use. Most of the people I use that word for are also funny or irreverant which I find cute also.

I have these in red. The Brand is Chealsea Crew. This style is Alexa. I got it in a size 40 and it fits well. I wear 8 1/2 M in US sizes. I got the Marla (I think) in this brand in a 39 and they were too small. They are comforatble if you aren't standing for a long time. I wore mine to a concert...
