    The DANDRUFF Thread

My mother used the T-Get from Neutrogena ( and it looks like iodine but it worked for her).

    What are YOU wearing today?

Since I have absolutely NO vintage items other than red lipstick, I was hoping that the ladies of the powder room would post pictures of what they're wearing today, or yesterday, etc.?

    SUFFERING For Your STYLE

Oh I can't wait to hear what people will say when I get a vintage wardrobe going on. :) I'll have to make mine because (amazingly even in Florida) I can't find anything or any shops. [huh]

    Opera, anyone?

My husband took me to see "Madame Butterfly" before we got married ( 6 months married now) and it was amazing. I can't wait to see another opera.

Dita Von Teese at Fashion Week Paris

Miss Dita Von Teese at Fashion Week in Paris. She was with the always over-cooked Posh ( I use to be a HUGE Victoria Beckham fan...). It's at ImNotObsessed ( check the link below) http://www.imnotobsessed.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/dita-victoria-chanel5.jpg

I agree. Wear something that you are comfortable in because when you have the confidence ( even though you've gained weight) no one will ever notice :D

    LADIES of the LOUNGE

Thank you :D Problem is my lips are dry and it's sticking to my bottom lips and rubbing off my top lip. You think darker is better? It's a CoverGirl brand and I'd like to try some MAC or Bobbi Brown but I'd have to go to Sephoria where I have a bit on a gift card left :D

    Face Shape?

You are divine in that red dress! I love it. There are lots of suggestions on how to figure out your shape, from outlining your face shape on a mirror with lipstick to draping it with a towel and asking others to help you guess the shape. But, there is actually a scientific way to...

Care to join my no eating after 7 p.m. (EDIT) or 3 hours before bed thread?

I've found that watching t.v. shows about food makes me hungry. I just workout a lot :D

    LADIES of the LOUNGE

    LADIES of the LOUNGE

Somehow I've managed to poke myself in the head with a VERY sharp pineapple palm branch. I was bending over and pulled up too fast ( underneath it) and OUCH right in my head! It's hurting, I'm glad I didn't do my curls tonight. :offtopic: Btw, when can you view other peoples profiles...

    Vintage Manicures

I'm really not a fan of the reverse French manicure but it seems to work with red. I guess because it's just such a timeless classic.

I need a visual aid! Rag curls?

Oh. My grandmother taught me to use a cut up old t-shirt. You just cut it up into strips. You just roll up your hair in them, I use gel ( nothing specific just regular DEP gel from Walgreens) and then that's it. Big or small, whatever you'd like. Works great and is really cheap.
