    I have one E1 handset on a 1937 302, and it has an adapter to use a 302 style transmitter instead of the "bullet" type. The "Bulldog" transmitters on later candlestick phones also used the 302 type transmitter. The E and F handsets were deliberately designed not to sit on one's shoulder...

    Yep, I love the '61 Continental. If Lincoln's next generation Town Car had "suicide" rear doors and a 4-door convertible version, I think it'd be a way to bring some excitement back to that brand.

    The Western Electric date codes give the quarter of the year the part was made, i.e. II-38 means 2nd quarter of 1938. The transmitter and receiver in the handset will each be date coded, but as Lizzie says they may have been replaced over the years too.

    I've had a Magnoli "Barnett College" suit for four years now, and I have most assuredly not babied it at all and it's held up great. The fit is pretty good, considering I took all the measurements myself. Someday I'll have a tailor tweak it, but there's no rush. When I get a little ahead...

    They've gone too far.

    I also think age has something to do with shaving. I seem to have far fewer problems with razor burn and skin irritation since I passed the age of 40. Could be my skills are improving, or my skin is getting tougher.
