i landed on obenauf.
i slopped it on, rubbed it in and rubbed it off.
a few hours later the shine is gone the squeaks are back and there's only a minor change in softness.......meh

No such thing. In fact, an additional benefit of overconditioning is that you can turn back the clock

Yes, over conditioning can permanently damage the leather.
A friend of mine had a nice English saddle that he conditioned every time he used it, which was a...
you should check out this movie called primer. it came out in 2004. low budget and very entertaining.
pm me if you don't know where to find and watch the movie
it's pretty amazing how our minds interpret sizing with a capture in time. it's like once you see it, it can't be undone nor will you think it's anything other than what you see. even though it's very sliding and not what you see.
many pics lie with infinite detail concerning perception ...
how about a 2 year update?
i use to accept fits like this. longer sleeves, more room and bow out than i wanted, longer length when i knew it needed to be shorter. heavy front bulge and hangs. but eventually it was put in the closet after 1/2 seasonal years. because knew it isn't what i...

i think many people have things wrong.
having the jacket hit the top of the buckle minimizes restrictions reducing hazards to nil. it's so much better as a safety net. better articulation, no hang ups/snags...
channeling my inner "can you dig it" in pic 3.
the optics in these pics even makes the unzipped sleeves look long but they're not. it's perfect @ 23.25 (hate when it hits the hand even slightly)
the more pics i take the more i'm surprised it looks as good as it does with it being 20.5...
what size is that and how tall are you?
i don't need that much more to be 100% happy. 1 to 1.5 inches in length. (start stretching)
so many variables to a perfect fit not to mention personal preferences. it's hard to have them all align.
i undershot with this a little. i can return but...
