Honestly, it sounds like a gimmick but this umbrella is awesome, even as just an umbrella. I've had mine for over 10 years and its still like new...

Pricey?
$300 is an absolute bargain for a new jacket today, most of the new stuff here is approaching $3000 these days....where are you shopping @Monitor
Skip the first few minutes about the dodo bird and there is an interesting story from Adam Savage of Mythbusters fame about his quest for the Falcon.

I've tried a few times to have some custom alterations (but nothing as big a job as resizing the shoulders) and I ended up selling both as the end result wasn't really what I was after. I'm going agains the grain her but in my experience it isn't worth it.
Looks great. I cant really see anything that would to be tweaked in a future order. As a few of the guys have mentioned, these jackets do mould over time so the fit will just get more and more comfortable.

Same for me here @Seb Lucas. None of my friends or acquaintances (except for a few of the younger girls at work) wear a leather jacket ...ever!
Now we have hit the cooler weather, I'm reminded yet again that the only men in Sydney that seem to wear leather here are middle age and older, out of...
Thanks guys, it's a size 38 Black Vicenza with grey alpaca wool lining.
It is pretty roomy for a 38, fits much more like a 40 or even 42 in most other jackets I have.
I'll jump on the scales tomorrow for you @Seb Lucas and let you know how much it weighs.
