Forum Upgrade -- POST ANY ISSUES HERE

Until they tweak things, have you tried going down to the bottom left corner and toggling from the 'blackend' back to the 'default' style? Its light backround with darker text and is quite easy for me to read on my iphone, so worth a try.

    Is "yanks" an offensive title

And on the other side of the coin, people need to perhaps think past what 'they' believe and perhaps think about how they might be offensive to others. That's not PC'ism. It's common courtesy and part of that is not always just writing how others might feel off as 'too touchy' Respect...

    Is "yanks" an offensive title

On another tangent... as a 'general term for american' it's probably no more or no less offensive then some who live in the UK would find being called 'limey' all the time...as if it were their official designation. ;)

    Is "yanks" an offensive title

While I don't find it personally offensive, I also do not -identify- with the term, since to most Americans it is a more specific term then the broader usage of the term in the UK. Since I know they do not -mean- it that way in the UK (in general), unless it was a close friend, I did not...

    Argh! DIY Advice?

Like with all things....its a matter of knowing when you are capable of fixing it yourself (with parts or with creation of parts yourself) and when its in the long run actually going to cost you more time, money and effort, to do so. This threshold is an individual one, and while I agree...

    Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream

I bought some of this at an outlet recently in preparation for my first winter. (I just moved and it actually snows here, so a slightly foreign thing for me) I have a lip balm shaped one which I really like and I figure the protector will be good when it gets colder. Anyone else use...

Where Do You Think Men Should Shave?

I guess I am just a big ole giant prude... But to me this is no one's business or matter then the folks involved. I thus don't really care much what 5000 strangers on the internet think about mens grooming habits, since beyond cleanliness, interacting with most males in public does not...

Fashion models of the Golden Era - Top Models or normal women advertising clothes?

Perhaps not clothing, but it was also very common practice to have known 'socialites' advertise things like beauty soap, cold creams, cigarettes etc. And in quite a few issues of hair magazines they would have a layout of various styles featuring an actress. I know that some fashion...
