expect a beautiful well made hat, John has a few that were already made and I grabbed a gray 23 3/4" hat complete with a signed, sized and dated completion date for the hat on the inside of the hatband..... I will be taking pictures this weekend;) -

not a hatter, however I have dealt with old leather in my day. one of the problems with an old sweatband is the leather can become brittle and in attempting to sew through the same holes may tear the holes and it won't hold, also their may not be room to stitch between the existing holes... -

hard to cancel the order when you paid in full, and he does not answer the phone or return emails. I was told it would ship on January 26th, then again in March when I asked where the hat was he said it would go out the next day. NOW he does not answer the phone and has no answering machine... -
