I honestly don't think this is the original fabric. It is like a velor and looks to be from the 1980's. I think It has already been recovered, that is why I want to change it. My favorite brand is Van Raalt. I have a half one that was my grandmothers, a full one I got for $2 at an antique mall and a second full one that a friend gifted me. Mine all date to about the 1950's. I love them for the large lace flounce they usually have on the bottom...- CherryRed

What's your favourite Red Hair colour?
When it comes to reds, the more grays I get I find them harder to cover. I have always used Loreal Feria or Preference but have one really stubborn spot on my temple that would not hold the color and blend with the rest of my hair. I just switched to Loreal Excellence Creme and it works like a... -
