Been some time since I've seen anything with the Sanger Brothers name on it. Used to be my mother's favorite store in Dallas. Your time range should be right. Sanger was merged with A. Harris stores to become Sanger-Harris when both companies were bought out. I think that happened in 1960. -

You may be right on the European sizing. The sweatband does say Sofia but not sure if it was actually sold in Bulgaria. I have added some foam behind the band for now to see if I want to keep it or not. -

FS: Beautiful 1950s Aquanized Stetson - Blue Gray - 7 1/8+
Beautiful hat & color. Unfortunately I am a 7 1/8-, somewhere closer to a 7. Lost a little weight and now the Stetsons that use to fit well are loose enough I had to add fillers under the sweatband. I suspect the lack of interest in your 3 hats is being impacted by the unreliable network issues...- Mcox47

I would be OK with that if it helps; however, there is also the issue of content. I know many of the hat people also are interested in vintage clothing but, based on the classified ads this site could be split into the Fedora Lounge and the Leather Jacket Lounge.
