My Portis Sterling Quality made for Fields Clothing Co. in Maryville, MO. The plastic tip liner suggests 1950s or 1960s but I'm no expert so please let me know if you have a more accurate timeframe.

Today, I am wearing a Portis Sterling Quality made for Fields Clothing Co. in Maryville, MO. I will post more photos in the Portis Path thread.
Thank you! I agree with your assessment. The black sweatband, in particular, would make the 60s a really strong possibility. I also have a longish face but I do love wearing the stingy-brims.
I posted this in the WHAYWT thread and I am reposting here upon request of @Steve1857. This is my Moores Homburg with side pinches and a tear drop crown, which I had mistakenly thought was a Lord's Hat. My trusted source says it's from the 1930's but I'm certainly no expert so please don't shoot...
Thanks! You are correct, I ignored the brim binding and went with Lord's Hat due to the side pinches and no center crease but I was probably being too presumptuous ... it's just one of my many flaws. :D
My Moores Homburg with side pinches and a tear drop crown, which I mistakenly thought was a Lord's Hat. My trusted source says it's from the 1930's but I'm certainly no expert so please don't shoot the messenger. That said, please do let me know if you have more accurate dating information.
My vintage hat made for McManus & Riley, a men's clothing store based in Albany, NY that closed in 1967. Based on the plastic tip liner, my best guess is that this lid is from the 1950s but please let me know if you have more accurate dating information.
My Knox Tom 'n' Jerry from the 1960s. Made for the H. Kositchek Bros in Lansing, Michigan. Kositchek's Menswear started in 1865 and today is on its fourth generation of family ownership.
My Carson Pirie Scott & Co. Based on the plastic tip liner, I am guessing this hat is from the 1950s or 1960s but please correct me if you have more reliable dating information.
My Adam Salisbury Premier Quality. Based on the plastic tip liner, I'm guessing this hat was made sometime in the 1950s or 1960s but please correct me if you have more reliable dating information.
My Mallory Retriever Premier Quality hat made for M. Shwartz & Co in downtown Poughkeepsie, NY. Given the plastic tip, my best guess is that this lid is from the mid-1950s up until the mid-1960s before the appearance of the "Mallory by Stetson" brand but please correct me if I'm off-base.
