    Western, anyone?

Hi If the Dingleberries bouncing on the brim bother you, well they're supposed to so that you don't fall asleep on the horse. Not being horsey, I wrapped the cords on like this so they don't bounce so badly. Later

    Northwest Hats, Eugene, Ore.

Yes, but Eric is neat, whereas I'm a pig on a GOOD day. On the other hand, none of my hats look even faintly like any of the "distressed" cowboy hats that are made. Even the one I roofing in, and shoot in, and hike in etc only has a sweat stained ribbon, the felt looks pristine. Later

    THE SUNBODY ASSOCIATION

Well Zombie, you made a small change to the brim and it looks great. I like the new ribbon slightly better. The old one matched the shirt really well though. Later

Why are dress chocolates so hard to find?

My Dad was ended the war as a Master Sergeant in the USAAF. He has a dress uniform jacket that was never worn being stationed in the South Pacific and ending the war in Panama. He said he wore his trousers out wearing them as a civilian because they still rationed clothing after the war. He...

Hi I went to the Royal Bavarian Restaurant in Moore Oklahoma. I had Schnitzel, with Red Cabbage, mashed potatoes, 1 liter of Octoberfest and a half of Munich Dunkel, both brewed in house. Later

    Peters Brothers

Hi I'm an Okie now and was kind of planning on getting a Milan from them. I like the one I got years ago from Hatman Jack in Wichita and would like one with a wider brim. Too bad they're getting snotty (I guess that's the word). Later

What Did You Drink Last Night?

Hi A friend of mine and I split 4 Lindemann (I think) Lambic fruit beers, peach, Raspberry, Apple, and Cherry. The apple tasted like a real apple, which was interesting. The peach tasted like a real peach. The Raspberry tasted good, but the Cherry wasn't that great. I was surprised that the...

Stetson pulls products from HatWRKS Over Vaccination Controversy

Yes note use of the term BEFORE the death camps. One of the few books I've given away concerned home front Germany. I gave it away because it disgusted me. The locals wanted a death camp in their neighborhood to give jobs to the local boys. I'm not totally sure that they DIDN'T know what they...

Stetson pulls products from HatWRKS Over Vaccination Controversy

Bingo, Business and Politics don't match. My old neighbor in Illinois (passed away in 2015) decided to be all civic and ran for the School board in about 1985 or so. To quote, "Every time I voted for something, it made 1/3 of the people mad, but the time I'd voted 5 or 6 times, I'd made...

    Western, anyone?

Hi I do some leatherwork and I always use distilled water for that because I've gotten some white calcium deposits from our hard water I guess. Usually you want to steam the hat not dip it. Just my $0.02 and worth every penny. Later
