LO=December 1940. This label was registered in 1938, commemorating the completion of the Golden Gate bridge.
This could be the missing label.
Did you post a black Mission Leather some time ago?
I don't remember any of the details. Do you remember the black one that showed up here in a thread? It was the same style as mine only much cleaner and Black.
It is a bigger jacket, maybe a 46.
No doubt a small local shop. I've seen a later Mission Leather label , but don't recall the jacket.
Thank you. I thought it was a Block of California. Even more cool with the Black Bros label. I assume the Black Bros of Seattle Washington. I have one of their wool shirt/jacs that is a cut above.
such nice condition too. I have yet to acquire a combo jacket such as this style. They just...
Gone for $400. Pre war Scully in excellent condition marked a 44. I did not see the Scully label until today. I Certainly would have paid $400. I may own this same jacket without the labels
This jacket was discussed here. Just showed up on ebay and already taken down. Does this jacket belong to a member here?

This looks like a nice jacket. Taylors Leather is the continuation of Appalachian Tanned and Tailored. They have a website, they may be able to tell you an accurate date.
I can say this jacket is not 50s, probably not 60s, 70s? 80s?
I have the 2 Cat's Eye; one brown one black. The Cat's Eye jacket are the same, one with no labels.
The ladies Capeskin
LA Togs, vest
LA togs suede car coat
I have one black and one brown with the MW label and leather ribbon. They are the same jacket, but the black does not have any labels.
I do not have a CSC jacket in this style.
This "hesitation" is what I don't get. I do get sizing and wearing, but a Seattle Woolen as pictured I would rate A+ so rare you will not see another in any size. I would just like to have the pictures!
My hesitation has been long cured. It just took one missed jacket to change my way of...
Sorry, In my rambling I forgot the link. Thanks for the edit! This is one maker I can endorse without hesitation. Seems Taubers can hang around a long time unsold. Not sure why.
Excuse my forgetfulness. I am just waking up. I would appreciate more photos. I've never owned a jacket in this style.
I do not fully understand instagram other than posting a picture. I've already interacted with a variety of folks who I don't think are on this forum. It is difficult...
A few thoughts. Since it is Vintage I will put it here.
I'm not quite sure if the new wave Vintage will read this. I know their handles, I see the jackets and; They are noted that they walk the walk. Interesting to watch. I like it.
I can hardly keep up with my own doings, I loose track...
My limited words above are a reflection of my jealousy of such a fine jacket. It seems to have gone by unnoticed. These jackets were abundant in the catalogs, but so seldom seen today. The label, the Collar. Please post at least a picture of the interior. and the label.
This is another...
Wow! I had to search for this rather quiet thread. I've been a bit down, but got a couple of new things on the way. One was expected, the other A happy surprise, I hope. It needs a good rub down. I know the company and I expect it to be a fine leather.
The other is a True Sentimental...
