    Just got a sample of the Battered Tan and the Tumbled Cordovan this morning. They both seem just as thick as any other CXL. I'm starting to think that the Kelpie horsehide might be the answer to a brown midweight CXL HH. When you get your Kelpie samples, please post some pics and let me know...

    Thanks for the info. I'd love to have the natural CXL, but according to Carrie, the last batches have all been very thick and heavy. And the battered tan is listed under Aero's mid-weight hide category, so I'm assuming it's a bit more pliable. Maybe I should make a request "less batter, more tan..."

    I was just going to PM you. I have a Schott Rancher in size 42, chocolate brown, that I never wear. But then I just tried it on again...these Ranchers look so dang good. The suede on them is wonderfully thick. Nothing comes close to the cut, the drape, and the way they fit. Such a classic look.
