Belts and buckles
Here’s a couple of new belts. The lapis channel inlay buckle set I’ve had for some time. It’s by C Benally. The black belt is a simple harness strap with basket weave stamping and is 1 1/2” tapering to 3/4”. The second belt is is a hand hitched horsehair one with tooled leather ends. Still...- Bamaboots

I’m no hatter or carpenter but I have used this to work on this as well as a couple of Monticristi’s. If it’s a tight seam crack, a small amount worked into the crack and surrounding area will stabilize it. Dampening the area being worked on can help. The glue is water soluble but waterproof... -

Thanks, B. This hat certainly brings about those thoughts. I've been able to find some similar models in old Miller catalogs, not exactly as there's always a little difference in crown height or brim width but the hat was likely produced in the mid 30's. It's got some obvious wear but not hard... -
