Back with another recommendation of belts from the Lonesome Cowboy. I'd say they're among the best deals in belts in the world.
This one:
- Mto with customization options (hardware, tip shape, length)
- 5 mm thick vegetable tanned bend leather by the Shonan tannery (smells absolutely incredible)
- Hand dyed black
- 39 mm wide
- Silver plated chunky brass buckle. Their buckles are very impressive.
- Both the sides and the backside are fully finished smooth. Need to adjust the position of your belt? You don't have to unbuckle. Just slide it around.
-85 USD. With shipping and VAT. For a handmade Japanese belt of the highest quality. Unbelievable!

I don’t understand why more makers don’t burnish the edges. I get it for a $100 mass produced belt but once we get into $200 or custom territory i expect it.

yeah,
I get a modestly burnished edge on my $30 Brenemans belts, and better still on my $80 mainstreet forge belt.
I'd probably expect it on a custom handmade belt too.
