Agreed, that looks like an ideal fit. Are you able to layer a hoodie underneath?I just got this jacket, and I love it! I finally found a bomber, and I think the fit is perfect!

Thanks. Good to know. As I am only slightly taller and heavier, what fits you should also fit me. Let's seeIt's an XXL from Iron Heart. I know I have gone through many jackets this year, trying to reinvent my wardrobe, but when I saw Iron Heart released a limited edition L2B in navy, I had to try it. I can safely say I found my bomber jacket. I wouldn’t have had to try so many if Iron Heart made a parka.
I like Iron Heart better than Real McCoys now. The quality is impressive, the fit is fantastic, they are always hundreds of dollars cheaper than Real McCoys, and they aren’t precisely replicas—which, in my opinion, is a bonus. No one can accuse you of impersonating a service with this jacket. Plus, it allows for improvements on the original design.
Thought I’d give a used no-name shearling a try to see if I like the style but I fear this Size S is rather too big even with the sleeves turned up (even accepting that shoulder seams beyond the shoulder are sometimes ok!). Am I correct?

I think the 36 looks better, but I personally like my leather jackets to fit rather trimWhile I suspect the true answer may be 37, which size is better for this lighting:

I can layer a light sweater under it, probably a light hoodie, too. I have a Wrangler hoodie that is the same thickness as this jacket, though I swear it has the same diamond-quilted insulation inside. So it depends on the hoodie. A regular one, yes, but some heavy hoodies are basically jackets in their own right.Agreed, that looks like an ideal fit. Are you able to layer a hoodie underneath?

Don't force it. Someone out there is making the in-between size of this jacket. Keep looking. While I suspect the true answer may be 37, which size is better for this lighting:

Thanks Panda; that's what I'm thinking too. Pretty sure Vanson will do exchanges (rather than returns) so I have that option. I should call them and see what they have to say about sizing. This one's headed to the for sale page soon. The 42 looks a bit tight. Try both 44 and 46 and keep one and return the other.
I think size 44 will suit you well. But if you get better in the future, history may repeat itself.Hi,
My name's Corbin; I've been a non-member on TFL for many years seeking advice from past threads. Everything from fit to style, I've learned so much from so many members here, so thank you!
I'm a project manager in industrial construction (also some residential). I ride motorcycles, work on cars and fabricate parts and try to exercise some creativity when I can.
Here's a few pictures of my Vanson model B, size 42. I purchased this directly from Vanson in 2021 for my birthday. I have since grown a bit and now it is quite snug. I'm thinking I need to go up a size, possibly a 46. I may trade it if one comes up, but I guess I just want to make sure I get one the right size. What do you all think?
Thanks for any input you guys may have!
Oh man, that's what I'm afraid of. Although working out is probably the reason I no longer fit this one; doesn't explain why my shoes shrank though! Haha!I think size 44 will suit you well. But if you get better in the future, history may repeat itself.
I just got this Flat Head Double Rider and I'm torn on whether the shoulders are too broad for my body. Thoughts?

Shoulders look great.
I think people on TFL need a reminder that, while shoulders can never be narrower than your shoulders, extended shoulders are an established part of both leather jacket making and tailoring.
