yup, as any of us on this website know, you can spend years researching the size of a single model of a single jacket of a single brand, and still get it wrong. so i do think it was destiny, as it is now my favorite jacket. thanks for sharing my joy ;)

Taylor does have their jackets made in Pakistan. i'm a collector of military, motorcycle and police jackets and have about 6 Taylors. the ONLY difference from those made in the U.S. and those from Pakistan is the thickness of the leather...the current Pakistan made jackets are thicker cowhide...

i think generally you have to take all online measurements with a grain of salt. they're just references and a lot of the knowledge sadly comes from you yourself buying these jackets and getting a feel for what your size is. that said, the most important measurement IMO is the armpit to armpit...
