    Patterning question

I have three leather jackets that I wear with the following shoulder sizes: 16.5 17 17.25 The 17-inch jacket fits me the best, which is what I'm basing my numbers off of. Typically a size 36 provides me with a shoulder measurement within the 16.5 - 17-ish range.

@jeepTj98, that's the one but mine also has the accordion-style bean holder at the top - once you've ground the beans you can push on the top to blow air through the burs so that nothing gets stuck.

Thank you @tmitchell59, it's a cool piece and to have survived the way it has I'm guessing the hide is quality.

@Vectrex how's Austria at the moment? Has spring begun? We're suffering a late season cold snap here in Toronto, so no one is very happy.

Not Austria, South Texas - I live in Toronto now but I'm a big coffee guy. My favourites are the African beans of Ethiopia, Kenya, and Rwanda, good and fruity.

I know a lot of folks here love a good Hercules. Size M by the seller, and at approximately $245 USD this could be a good one. https://jp.mercari.com/item/m14106601919 I'm not an expert but the leather looks good - the top coat is obviously worn in most places but the actual leather seems...

@jeepTj98 I hear you about grounds not being uniform in size - that can seriously affect the taste of the coffee. The larger grounds don't extract at the same rate as the fines, which means you really want a uniform size in between. The finer grounds will immediately settle to the bottom as...

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

@soreilly the seller incorrectly labels it as a J-100, which it's not. It looks like an older version of the new (now horsehide) Buco Style King. https://therealmccoys.com/collections/outerwear/products/buco-style-king Current retail is $3,550 USD, so this one at approximately $930 USD is a...

I literally just spent almost that same money on a Eureka grinder in Ferrari red - it does wonders to the coffee experience every morning.

@jeepTj98 that Aero looks good, and soft, like it's breaking in. Dig it that you wear it almost everyday, even in the heat. I do the same with my jackets - ridiculous as it is I'll sit in my house all day working while wearing my jacket.

@Vectrex @jeepTj98 I too wear a 36 in almost every jacket and usually look to the market in Japan for that size. I just posted three jackets in the Finds and Deals section of this forum that might be interesting to one or both of ya'll...

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

I've never seen this jacket before - bright red steer hide RMC size 42. Approximately $930 USD. Seller notes a small mark on the upper rear shoulder but it's very hard to see in the photos. https://jp.mercari.com/item/m58923424361

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

Someone should hop on this! RMC HD size 38, for approximately $520 USD. Leather looks good and the description doesn't note any issues - also seller seems open to further questions. https://jp.mercari.com/item/m20874787921

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

Not a jacket but rather an entire yearbook of RMC from 2009. At approximately $12 USD this could be a good reference book. https://jp.mercari.com/item/m37424470453
