Last jacket to be made for a few weeks due to “real life” commitments, but @ton312 and his green machine inspired me to do another one in Venetian cowhide. Not my usual color scheme, but I think these two shades work very nicely together! And it’s pushing 80 degrees today.. bye bye jacket weather

It’s pigment, and doesn’t seem to be rubbing off on anything, just disappearing..

Thanks Photo. Tex 100. Gutermann Mara 30 poly wrapped poly core. Plays really nicely and has a nice feel. I also use cotton wrapped poly core Tex 90 in some situations.

Probably the last week of decent jacket weather here…. My most recent jacket, and probably my end game cross zip. Got all the specs where I wanted them for a riding jacket. I made two of these nearly identical with different teacore steer hides to test out. The other one is going Mad Max...

I’m about 5’ 10.5” and 165lbs. Overall, it fits really well, but it’s a bit longer in the body than I prefer on a cross zip, and the sleeves are a touch shorter than I prefer. I’m being pretty nit picky there, but I have another D Pocket that fits perfectly.

What happened to F&F?

^^^ yeah, the logo patch does look a bit odd…. Size, logo itself, lack of metallic in the gold printing, and stitch pattern all look different from what I’ve seen, but again, I’m definitely NOT a Lewis expert! ^ patch on my previously owned Dominator

I had thought Lewis used Lightning and Clix zips instead of YKK, but I could be way off. I’ve only owned one Lewis and it was ordered new in 2021.
