Yeah, the back issues suck! I knew I’d have comfort woes when I bought the sporty triumphs, but I couldn’t resist. Triumph makes beautiful, solid bikes. The only sport bike I’ve owned in the last decade that was comfy enough to ride for multiple hours was a Honda CBR600RR. The ergos just worked...
The three Triumphs I owned the last 2 years. I sold the Thruxton TFC and Daytona Moto 2 as they both killed my lower back to ride. Tons of fun though, especially the Daytona. Sold my beloved Tiger last fall after a long solo trip due to a new baby in the house and no long journeys in the...
8 jackets in Rotation, 2 are “special occasion, kinda babied”, 2 are mainly bike use only or for layering in the cold, remainder are worn most just whatever I feel like wearing that day. 3 of the latter need lots more wear for break in, so they get worn the most…
Test fit for jacket #10 after another mod to top yoke. This one got the J100 treatment for the sleeve zips and collar. I almost forgot how rigid this SB Foot Black Cherry hide is when new.
My choice would be Badalassi or CXL Steer for standard Highwayman. I like the structured look of a heavier hide for that jacket. For a Premier cut, my fav is Bada or Vicenza. As for Vicenza and the graining… I’ve only owned beautiful grainy Vicenza in the blackened brown color. I was...
I’m no Mr Proper, but in my extensive Aero BR experience( I think I’ve owned 6 at this point) size up one from your normal if you plan to do ANY layering. I like my BR to be my normal size 40, but there is no hope for more than a thin thermal and a t shirt underneath. Hoodies are a no go. Great...
I’m with you! J-100 (Aero) started it all for me. Still probably my favorite of all the jackets I own, although weather needs to be just right. Great fit on you
Perhaps a long shot… Been interested in some Black Mr Lous for a bit now, but haven’t had much luck finding any in my size pop up, and I am not the guy who can wait more than a year for anything new. Pretty sure I’d be a 9E based on what I’ve read. Just under 10D on Brannock, 9 RW Moc toe, can...
I did, and thank you! All in all, it’s a very simple cafe layout. Nothing groundbreaking, there are a couple of little aspects that make it subtly unique. I still need to make some adjustments. @Mrfrown makes it look great!
