I agree 100% with this advice. Jimmy helped me order mine and I’m certain I would have regretted going down a size.

The more I wear this jacket the more I like it. It feels like a much more expensive jacket. Can’t believe it was just under $300.

Thank you. If you haven’t already, I would ask him detailed questions that directly address your concerns. I would say there’s a little room in this jacket. I haven’t worn it with a thick shirt or sweater yet and due to the mild climate here in Southern California I may never have a need to do so.

I’m still thinking it over. I don’t want to bother the seller too much, and I doubt he’d say much more than “XL is a snug fit and 2XL is looser.” I might be able to get free shipping for Real Simons, which has slightly better measurements, but it would end up being quite a bit more expensive.

I agree with @Zoro. That is his job and he should have no problem with more detailed questions from you. I’m sure he’ll be able to give you better guidance if you provide more detailed measurements.

Another installment of my on going review of Chinese Leather Jacket. Attached is the review. The Jacket fills a long sought after Hartmann Style void. I started this project because I wanted to see for myself how well the lower-priced Chinese makers stack up, especially when it comes to leather, construction, pattern and value. I have covered other models previously, but this installment is a little different: it is both a review of my new Veluokldly and a comparison of three makers offering the Hartmann-style jacket.

Tailor Brando, Crush On Retro and the other one don't make anything. They just buy the jackets and then sell them to western customer for a profit. Literally middlemen.

New member, old lurker. I'm thinking about a swedish motorcycle jacket--the old dispatch rider model from the 50s. I found these two Chinese versions:

Any experience with either? Which COR brand is the latter? Any other advice? Thanks!

Great read mate :) I've been really into European style leather jackets lately and the Hartmann is a classic that I would love to try out for myself.

After seeing how well that Velo...something fits you I may have to pull the trigger myself and se how I like it before going all in on a vintage one :)

Love your reviews mate, super well written and always great info, bravo sir bravo!

Cheers
