Royal Diplomat in a beautiful shade of lavender gray. Interesting to note that the button on the wind cord is sewn to the bow, so obviously not meant for use simply a design element.

It was a morning with a sudden downpour, and the moment the rain stopped its patter, I took this Borsalino out of the closet.
SanVulcan 1.jpg

The color is "Silver," its curious name is "Sanvulcan," and the size is a 6—meaning a 59
SanVulcan 2.jpg
It was sold in Northern Europe, as indicated by the "Ecther" marking, though no specific city or country is listed.
SanVulcan 4.jpg
It is very old; this is evident from the paper label and the size "6 1/2" written in pen—which differs from the size marked on the sweatband. Its age is also betrayed by a few moth holes.

Be that as it may, it is magnificent.
The credit goes to Stefan, who always delights me with memorable hats during our exchanges.
Thank you for your kind words about the Panizza "Foulard"; I return the sentiment with great pleasure.

Spectacular to see, Daniele… both the beautiful, bodacious Borsa and your happy face!!

Today a Hat I forgot I had...great for Fall wear. A Dobbs Dawson in "Coca Mix" (which is a really awesome heather felt). Darker of course than how it photographs....but has such a color range, wish I could show it better. A little over 4 5/8 as creased, 2 1/2 brim so Stratoliner like. I got it several years ago NOS....I don't believe I have ever shared it here before......

This photo is not too bad in showing the color.....

Love that Borsalino M
Goo day hat wearers. My morning dog walk was enjoyed under the brim of a Borsolino Misto.

Yard shennanigans under the brim of a Lee Commentator (sage green hued felt) that has an underwelted brim.

Love that Borsalino Misto! The color reminds me of the Akubra Fed IV Deluxe in Heritage Fawn, I keep debating on buying...
