Back from Sardinia. Just a few pics. The hat of choice was the Mossant Baku. The trip took us from Baia Sardinia to Orosei to Cagliari and finally Alghero.

Will we get to see more photos of your trip to Sardinia? How did you like it?

I have close family ties to the La Maddallena area and have spent a number of years there myself. Honestly, it is my favorite place in the world.

The history of Allgero is absolutely fascinating, too.

Thanks, Nathan. Much appreciated. Could have been La Maddalena (the architecture of these places is very similar), but it is indeed in Orosei and the church in the background is the Chiesa Parocchiale San Giacomo Maggiore opposite a lovely trattoria called Manu. Here's another picture of it.

I'll post some more pics in the "hats abroad" thread as soon as I have organized them. Thoroughly enjoyed Sardinia. I would have liked to see some more sights, but the weather was too hot for that sort of activities (at least for a northerner like me).

Yes, I realized it was Orosei and edited my comment. Those towns can be very similar, but the church in La Mad is much smaller.

Royal DeLuxe Stetson with three cord hatband. I really like the Burgundy liner with the onion skin liner tip. Behind the sweatband it has that layer of material to help prevent sweat from transferring to the felt.
